found - one bunny

When Brian went outside this morning, this is what he found - A white bunny with black ears and a few black splotches.  I know this isn't a great picture, but I'm actually surprised that it turned out so good.  It was taken with my dead camera lens.  That is the best I could get it to focus.

Anyway, we put up a poster and are trying to find out who it belongs to.  In the meantime, if we don't find it's owner we are wondering if anyone would like to have a bunny as a pet.  We already have a pet, and as much as Joe wants to keep it, I have to veto that idea.

Let me know if any of you are interested - he really is very cute.

NEVERMIND...WE FOUND HIS HOME!!!

bees

You know, I used to think I liked bees.....until they took up residence in the side of my house right outside of my front door.  There were so many on Thursday that I was trapped.  I couldn't leave the house through the front door.

Home again

Joe made it back from camp and thanks to other people who have cameras I have this picture.  I have other pictures too, but I didn't know how the boys families would feel if I posted their photo's.  I don't know how to blur their faces like Karen does.  So, I will keep the others for myself and just post this one of Joe.

Even though it was "freezing cold" at night - Joe had such a good time.  His favorite things to do were archery and canoeing.  He also enjoyed playing capture the flag, in the dark.  They played with glow sticks. He said it was awesome.

He came home dirty and tired.  In other words, he had a great time.

I missed him a lot - so glad he's home.

Missing

Have you seen this boy?

                                                                                     - because he's awesome!

Joe is gone this week.  He went to scout camp for the first time ever.  It's only Wednesday, and I miss him so much.  The longest he has ever been away overnight is 2 nights.  He won't be back until Saturday.  He is taking archery, shooting, canoeing - he is having an adventure - WITHOUT ME.

I can't wait until Saturday to see his cute face - we will hang out on the bed and he will tell me all about his adventures.  I can't wait.

Things I have missed

Yeah, this photo has nothing to do with the content of this particular post, but since I am camera-less I am posting it anyway.  You can't have a new post without including a picture.  Isn't Josh cute?
Anyway, this post is entitled "Things I have missed."  It's about all of the events I have missed taking photo's of since my camera died.  Here goes:

Addy's pre-school graduation - Addy in a graduation cap = too cute.

Trina's baby shower.

The family Memorial Day Barbeque.

Joe's history parade where he dressed as a peasant from the French Revolution.  He was also pulling a "float" that he made.  It was a guillotine (of course).  He totally made it the night before, but it turned out SO good, it looked like he spent the entire 2 weeks on it.

Joe's  6th grade musical performance about Rock and Roll through the ages.

Addy's dance recital.  So so adorable in her little red dance outfit.  She was awesome.

Max's kindergarten graduation.  At least I can steal those photo's off of Sheri's blog.

Joe's last day of Elementary School EVER!  NO LAST DAY OF SCHOOL PHOTO - how sad is that?

Lastly, Joe's end of the school year party that he is having with his friends this afternoon.

Not having a camera really sucks!  It's killing me.
